See a free still truck window preview directly in your browser tab before paying. Your photo stays in your browser for this check and still preview, with no account needed.

3

3. Create your video

Pick 5, 10, or 15 seconds in 9:16 or 16:9. One-time packs are $9.90 (15 credits), $19.90 (45), or $29.90 (75). If a render fails, your credits return automatically.

Questions

Before you upload a face.

Find short answers about photo checks, scene previews, and automatic credit returns on failed videos.

How do I make a Hit the Road Dude AI video?

Choose one clear, front-facing photo of yourself or your pet on the page. Check the free in-browser photo score and still truck window preview first. Then pick 5, 10, or 15 seconds, select 9:16 portrait or 16:9 landscape, and create your 720p MP4 video with sound. No prompt writing or account is needed.

How many photos do I need?

Just one photo with a single subject: either one person or one pet. Upload a JPG, PNG, or WebP up to 5 MB. A photo with a shorter side of 800 pixels or more rates "Good" on the free in-browser quality check. Only use photos of yourself, your own pet, or someone who agreed to appear.

Can I use my dog or cat?

Yes, pets are welcome! Upload one clear front-facing photo of your dog, cat, or other pet. Your pet stays their own species and gets natural pet motion, a gentle head tilt or nod toward the road, and mouth movement in the driver's seat of the white pickup truck.

How long is the video, and how long does it take to make?

You can choose a 5-second, 10-second (standard), or 15-second clip in 9:16 portrait or 16:9 landscape. All videos render as 720p MP4s with sound. Rendering usually takes a few minutes once you start your video.

How much does it cost?

Checking your photo and viewing the still truck window preview are free. To render videos, choose a one-time credit pack with no subscription: $9.90 for 15 credits (1 standard 10s video), $19.90 for 45 credits (3 standard videos), or $29.90 for 75 credits (5 standard videos). Clips use 1.5 credits per second.

Is the free preview the final video?

No. The free truck window preview is a still image drawn in your browser tab so you can check framing before buying credits. Nothing is uploaded during the free check or still preview. The final 720p MP4 video with motion and sound is created when you spend credits.

What happens to my photos and finished videos?

Nothing is uploaded during the free in-browser photo check or still preview. When you create a video, your source photo is deleted from our storage as soon as rendering finishes or fails. Finished videos stay in your history for 7 days via a browser cookie and saveable private access link; download them before then. If you leave to pay, your photo saves locally in your browser to restore within 1 hour and clears when you return; any draft not restored clears on your next visit.

Is this site connected to the original clip?

No. Hit the Road Dude Maker is an independent AI video generator and is not affiliated with the original clip, its creator, or anyone appearing in it. Please only upload photos of yourself, your own pet, or someone who has agreed to appear.
